Van Zarr is a highly experienced Food & Beverage Director with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He has worked at several award-winning restaurants in Kansas City, including Bluestem and Rye, where he developed his skills and passion for creating exceptional cocktails. Van is known for using classic techniques and contemporary touches to create unique and flavorful dining experiences, often incorporating locally sourced ingredients. As the Food & Beverage Director at The Savoy, he continues to push the boundaries of mixology and dining while staying true to the restaurant’s progressive style of Midwest hospitality.
